Breakfast At Tiffany’s

Since reading “Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast At Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Woman”, I have been searching the net more and more for images from the film, “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” (1961). It’s iconic in my eyes–truly I remember where I was and the exact moment I saw that film back in June 2004–it changed me. How you ask? Well, I was 20 years old and not sure about who I was and what felt right style wise and well–everything wise, really. Audrey Hepburn’s style and grace gave me something to aspire to be like. From that balmy June afternoon on, I have continued to be totally captivated by Audrey Hepburn.

Let’s face it–Holly Golightly’s style is just as significant today as it was back in 1961. Everything from her beautiful caramel colored highlights to her chic french twist, the LBD (little black dress), her sunglasses and trenchcoat—all of these things are still key pieces in classic and effortless feminine style.

By far my favorite image! By Jordan Bolton, this artwork takes original pieces from the film and brings them to life in a whole new and unique way!

Today I’m sharing some of the beautiful images I’ve come across online.
