On a recent trip the an antique shop, I spotted these gorgeous tea cups from Fitz & Floyd’s Renaissance collection. Unfortunately, they came as a set of 8… fortunately for me, the price was an absolute steal!
The Renaissance collection has since been discontinued so you see, I couldn’t pass them up!
The black and gold color combination is synonymous with the decadence of the jazz age and I think that’s what struck me most about the set. The design aesthetic has a very art deco modern vibe to them–ironically, they were made in 1978.
Either way, the color combination and shape is a classic one. While I love my blue and white, I certainly do love a good tea cup! 🙂
